Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with our dermatology providers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic. The ideal candidate has a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for dermatology exams and procedures.
- Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and relevant medical information.
- Assist providers with dermatological procedures (biopsies, excisions, cosmetic treatments, etc.).
- Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Provide post-procedure care instructions and education to patients.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, verifying insurance, and collecting payments.
